New A Life, Still Submission!
Chris Parker
Dangers of the Tiger
Wake Technical Community College
Acrylic, Colored Pencil
12” x20”
This piece was inspired by a fortune cookie. The cookie stated, “Never set the tiger free if you live in the mountains.” This made me think about decisions that people have control over that could have terrible consequences. I think this picture is a good fit to A Life, Still because it is a simple still life picture that has a much more significant meaning.
Chris Parker is a student at Wake Tech in the Advertising and Graphic Design program. He paints out of necessity preferring to work in black and white with inks and graphite. He is looking forward to graduating in May and having more time to spend with his two little girls.
