Artist Statement
I had about a half hour before I started work, as usual I was carrying around my camera looking for something of interest to capture on film. I turned a corner and was struck by this beauty of a man. The combination of the striking blue hue of his shirt and his golden tanned skin became my instant obsession. I stalked him for blocks until I made this picture.
Artist Bio
Nicholas Venaglia was born in Albuquerque, NM and currently lives just outside San Francisco, CA. He is a student at City College of San Francisco and a cook at Whole Foods Market.
